The already traditional Easter exhibition at the Charles Bridge Museum is one of the favorite destinations of not only Praguers.

Easter is the most important Christian holiday and celebration of the beginning of spring.

You will learn a lot of interesting facts about the customs and traditions of typical Czech Easter.  The egg, a distinctive symbol of these holidays, has always been a symbol of new life, because it itself contains the germ of life.

In folk culture, egg decorating has become a tradition and some ways persist to this day.

The exhibition "Easter Eggs from Three Sides" is a presentation of these traditional skills in the form of demonstrations of finished products and methods of decorating live.

Good food and drink are also part of the Easter holidays. That is why, on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition, we will prepare a lot of great spring specialties for you in the café of the Charles Bridge Museum.
